Home    What Income Do I Need to Buy a Home in Phoenix?

Arizona is still a relatively cheap place to buy a house, and a new report says those who make below the median income in Phoenix can still get a median-priced home.

Mortgage website HSN.com found that Phoenix-area residents must earn $43,836 annually in order to afford the median-priced home in the Valley — which, at $218,800, would mean a monthly payment of $1,023.

That still presents good value for home shoppers on fixed budgets, as the U.S. Census Bureau reports the median income in the region is $47,139 annually.
